  1. Looking for suggestions on where to go/what to do. We will be there over Memorial Day. The Ft Fisher Aquarium is a given (as is the beach), but we will be traveling with 4 adults and 4 kids (all under 5). Any insider info on fun things to do?

  2. Don’t allow a lot of discussion during the activity. It can be hard to keep sharing if you hear a comment on everything you say.
Decide on the rules for your activity. For example, do you want a time limit. Do you want to allow anything negative/positive or just stick to neutral tidbits? Do you want to have a certain set number of times each person is allowed to discuss a fact? If so, how many and how restrictive do you want the discussion to be? (Do you want them to be allowed to discuss anything other than that specific fact during that time?)
Write your rules and guidelines down somewhere you can display them for the participants.

  3. Company info such as those that are not listed on their company website is what I am looking for. Is there a way to get “insiders” for some tips?

    Thanks

  4. For example in the movie “Pelham 123″ w/ john Travolta, He has planned the heist and the market crashes. But he is able to make lots of money from the crash? How is that possible?

  5. He sells short the market.

If you are Al Qaeda then you can sell short all the airlines before 9/11 and make billions

Specially if you sell short United Airlines and American Airlines

For example, when I am watching CNN and hear about the oil spill I went to my computer as fast as I could and sold short BP and made a ton of money.

There are many companies out there selling short everything they can.

If a plane crashes, you sell short the airline.
If Steve Jobs is dying, you sell short Apple.

    It’s not exactly rocket science.

That’s why all the bad guys in the movies always use this strategy. You don’t need to be an evil genius to do it.

Is just another form of the centuries old “business” of filling your house with gasoline and light a match just to collect the insurance claim.

If you are asking about a more technical explanation of how John Travolta did it then we can do it right now with a real company with real cash and with a real tragic story so you can understand the process. Obviously just for educational purposes and we are only investing $100 so you won’t make millions but that is alright. There are far more fun and smart ways to make money.

  6. I’ve lived in Dallas (29 yrs) but wld like to be near family in OH. after researching many locations, tristate area seems to fit and is a short, inexpensive plane ride for weekend family visits. I’m in marketing for a F500 company but no offices in that area… so, i’m looking for insider info to help locate a reputable headhunter, relocation specialist, and any other useful suggestions to get the ball rolling. house goes on the market in Febuary! ty (:
thanks!! i am hoping to find a relocator familiar with the Tristate area,, I wld like info on where to live, what to expect commutint — things we don’t do in Dallas. i’v never even visited the area but heard the winters are more mild in CT than anywhere. i’v also read many good reports on the area as a whole.

here in dallas, we hv “local known” info like where’s safer, family oriented, single oriented, artsy, etc,,, which is why i was hoping to find a local person to answer relo questions. thank you for reading!!

  7. Yes you can put them in a salad. This is a very attractive way of serving afternoon tea, including the cucumber and cream cheese sandwiches with the crusts cut off. Which I’m sure her majesty would appreciate.

  8. If a person knows that his company may be acquired by a public traded company but nothing more and buys stock from this company is he or she violating any laws?

If so then can this person buy the stock as soon as it hits the wires without violating any laws?

    .
    thanks for the concurance.

  9. jeff’s answer is spot on.

aside from that, the buyer company stock price may decrease due to the acquisition. historically, buyer company share prices tend to decrease where the company that is being bough increases(I don’t have a quote for this)

  10. I thought it was going to be released in october but who knows. I heard from a french site saying something about a star wars game being released in october but i think that’s the force unleashed 2

  11. Sorry, I don’t. I only saw it advertised for the first time yesterday. It did show that young guy (I think he was on the yellow team with his buddy) and he’s lost something like 145 lbs and is coming back to lose more. I almost didn’t recognize him.

  12. “This website is dedicated to the men incarcerated at
Pelican Bay State Prison, and to their families and friends.

It is meant to help us find one another for mutual support and for the support of our loved ones. And it is meant for the men themselves to speak in their own voices to the larger world.

Finally, we hope to open a window for free people
into the life behind the walls of Pelican Bay.”

The web site even gives addresses for you to write to inmates if you so desire. I guess you would call them “insiders”.

  13. Beck had list of all the stocks Soros purchased according to Obamas Govt moves- meeting with Obama etc. It was like 5 minutes worth! THE CORRUPTION is UNREAL! SOROS getting RICHER ON OUR TAX DOLLARS TOO!
Im starting to think Obama is like a Mafia- Mobster now. I use to think he might be the Antichrist but now I see its mostly all about money!

  14. Then, in the first quarter of 2009, Mr. Soros went on a stock buying spree in companies that ultimately benefited from the federal stimulus.

•Soros doubled his holdings in medical manufacturer Hologic, a company that benefited from stimulus spending on medical systems
•Soros tripled his holdings in fiber channel and software maker Emulus, a company that wound up scoring a large amount of federal funds going to infrastructure spending
•Soros bought 210,000 shares in Cisco Systems, which came up big in the stimulus lottery
•Soros also bought Extreme Networks, which, months later, said it was expanding broadband to rural America “as part of President Obama’s broadband strategy”
•Soros bought 1.5 million shares in American Electric Power, a company Mr. Obama gave $1 billion to in June 2009
•Soros bought shares in utility company Ameren, which bagged a $540 million Department of Energy loan
•Soros bought 250,000 shares of Public Service Enterprise Group, 500,000 shares of NRG Energy, and almost a million shares of Entergy—all companies that came up winners in the Department of Energy taxpayer giveaway that produced the Solyndra debacle
•Soros bought into BioFuel Energy, a company that benefitted when the EPA announced a regulation on ethanol
•Soros bought Powerspan in April 2009. Just weeks later, the clean-energy company landed $100 million from the Department of Energy
•In the second quarter of 2009, Soros bought education technology giant Blackboard, which became a big recipient of education stimulus money
•Soros also bought Burlington Northern Santa Fe and CSX, both beneficiaries of Mr. Obama’s plans for revitalizing the railroads
•Soros bought Cognizant Technology Solutions, which scored stimulus funds in education and health care technology
•Soros also bought 300,000 shares of Constellation Energy Group and 4.6 million shares of Covanta, both of which landed taxpayers’ money through the stimulus, the former of which bagged $200 million
